WELCOME TO THE TEXAS TRACE KENNEL! The Texas home of Boykin Spaniels. The kennel name “Texas Trace” is a representation of the path or trail made by the passage of Boykin Spaniels from South Carolina to Texas. The Boykin Spaniel is a rare canine breed that continues to evolve. Our goal is to breed champion hunters with a household loving personality. We are conscientious breeders; breeding only occasionally and only to enhance the Boykin Spaniel breed.

We are proud members of The Boykin Spaniel Club and Breeders Association of America. We breed first and foremost for hunting qualities. Boykin Spaniels have many capabilities including hunting, conformation, weight pulling, field trials, agility, pet therapy care, household pet and much more. In our opinion however, their best qualities are loyalty and an eagerness to please.
